REDMOND -- A graveside service for John Reynolds will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. May 3 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland.  The Rev. Jim Bennett of the Redmond Assembly of God Church will serve as officiant.  Mr. Reynolds, a Redmond resident since 1987, died April 28 at Central Oregon District Hospital.  He was 82.

He was born Sept. 14, 1910 in Oklahoma to Allison and Sarah (Harwood) Reynolds.  He had worked as a farmer for most of his life.

He enjoyed gardening and was well-known for his lawn-mower repair services.  He attended the Assembly of God Church of Redmond.

He married his wife Luemma in Redmond on Dec. 12, 1987.  She survives at the family home.  Other survivors include three sons, Allen Hughes of Washington, Dave Reynolds of Portland and Gary Reynolds of Gresham; five daughters, Freida [sic] Mae Beck of Colorado, Norene Dearmore of Santee, Calif., Martha Bailey of Newberg, June Nielsen of Oregon City and Jeannette Salas of Carlton; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Arrangments are under the auspices of Redmond Memorial Chapel.
