Samuel L. Gann

Funeral services for Samuel Littleton Gann, 88, of 11080 Blackwell Road, Central Point, who died Friday, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Conger-Morris Downtown Chapel. The Rev. Wilburn Query of the Church of God, Silverton, will officiate. Committal will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Conger-Morris Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gann was born Jan. 18, 1887 in Cave Spring, Ga. He married Texia V. Gann on Dec. 3, 1911 in Albertville, Ala. Mr Gann had lived in the Rogue Valley since 1950 and was a retired mill worker.

Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Luther Gann and Homer Gann, Central Point; one sister, Tommie McAmore, Fyffe, Ala.; four grandsons, and two great granddaughters.

Pallbearers will include the Rev. Novala Glover, Clarence Glover, the Rev. Clarence Miller, the Rev. Cary West, Bob Smithsum, and James Wilson.

Those who wish may pay their respects until 8:30 o'clock tonite in the Conger-Morris Downtown Chapel.
